DEMOCRAZIA 2.0 – SOSTENIBILITÀ
Torino, 1 – 4 March 2010
THE PROJECT
For Torino European Youth Capital 2010 Biennale Democrazia has developed DEMOCRAZIA 2.0 – SOSTENIBILITÀ (DEMOCRACY 2.0 – SUSTAINABILITY): an opportunity for in-depth analysis, education and reflection in order to observe the world and our lifestyles through the lens of the scientist and to become citizen protagonists of our present, capable of discussing, choosing, evaluating and verifying.
DEMOCRAZIA 2.0 – SOSTENIBILITÀ proposes to provide the tools necessary to be the protagonists of the debate:
a team of researchers has formulated the scientific knowledge base necessary to be able to take part in the discussion in an informed and non-superficial manner and to verify the knowledge already acquired.
At the International Forum held under the patronage of President of Republic of Italy attended 50 youth leaders from eight European countries: Bulgaria, Netherlands, Spain, Latvia, Romania, France, Italy and Hungary and 600 young Italians.
