The European Seminar Sport as a path to active citizenship, took place from 5 to 16 March 2013 in Iasi, Romania.
The project Sport as a path to active citizenship has been funded with support from the European Commision through Youth in Action Programme.
The seminar Sport as a path to active citizenship approaches the themes of sport, volunteering and citizenship
During the seminar were used non-
sport and nonformal education in youth development,
volunteering in sport activities,
social role of sport,
white paper of sport,
sport and social inclusion;
to make an intercultural exchange;
to strengthen the European cooperation between youth NGOs .

The European Seminar Sport as a path to active citizenship had participants from: Bulgaria, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Spain, Romania and Turkey.
The seminar was prepared and conducted by a qualified and professional team of and the participants received Youthpass certificates which describe and validate the learning experience acquired during the seminar.
